This policy explains how MoTask Development collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website, contact us, use our tools or request our services.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

We may collect and process the following types of information:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and message when you contact us.
  • Information you provide when requesting a quote, consultation or service.
  • Files you upload to website tools, such as CV files uploaded to the ATS CV Scanner.
  • Optional information submitted through tools, such as job category, target job title, keywords or email address.
  • Website usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and technical logs.
  • WhatsApp messages or contact information if you contact us through WhatsApp Business.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide requested information.
  • Deliver services you request from us.
  • Process contact form submissions and WhatsApp enquiries.

  • Improve our website, services and user experience.
  • Keep internal business records where necessary.

4. ATS CV Scanner and uploaded files

If you use the ATS CV Scanner, you may upload a CV file in PDF or DOCX format. The scanner extracts text from the CV to assess readability, structure, keywords, formatting and role alignment.

Uploaded CV files are stored temporarily for processing and are deleted automatically after scanning. Scan results may be stored for a short period so you can view your result page. Results are not intended to provide a guarantee of employment, interview selection or recruiter decision-making.

5. Legal bases for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on one or more lawful bases depending on the context:

  • Consent where you choose to submit optional information or request email communication.
  • Contract where processing is necessary to provide a service you request.
  • Legitimate interests where necessary to respond to enquiries, improve services, prevent abuse, secure the website and operate our business.
  • Legal obligation where we are required to keep records or respond to lawful requests.

6. Cookies, reCAPTCHA and third-party services

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, protect forms from spam, remember basic preferences and support third-party services.

We may use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam and abuse. This may involve Google processing technical information such as IP address, browser and device signals.

We may also link to or display services from providers such as Trustpilot, Google Business Profile, WhatsApp, Google services or other operational tools. These providers may process your data under their own privacy policies when you interact with them.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information only where necessary with:

  • Hosting, email, security, analytics or operational service providers.
  • Payment or accounting providers where relevant to paid services.
  • Professional advisers where necessary.
  • Regulators, law enforcement or public authorities where legally required.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Where we do not specify a fixed retention period, we use criteria such as the nature of the enquiry, whether services were provided, legal obligations, dispute risk and business record requirements.

  • Contact form enquiries may be kept for a reasonable period to manage communication and follow-up.
  • ATS uploaded CV files are deleted automatically after processing.
  • ATS scan result records expire after a short period.
  • Client service records may be kept for accounting, legal and business administration purposes.

9. How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure. No website or online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take practical steps to reduce risk.
